have a hard time (in) doing sth.表示“做某事有困難”，后接名詞時，用have a hard time with sth. 表示“在某方面有困難”；
同義結構：have difficulty (in) doing sth. / have trouble (in) doing sth.（difficulty/trouble 前可加great 等形容詞加強語氣）。
例句: She's having a hard time in her new job because the workload is very heavy.
她在新工作中遇到了困難，因為工作量很大。
例句: He's having a hard time understanding the new grammar rules.
他在理解新的語法規則方面遇到了困難。
Language points
1. I’m having a hard time in physics and I’m afraid of the maths exam. 我在物理上遇到了困難，而且我害怕數學考試。
2. ... but you communicate well with others and are great at basketball. ……但你與別人溝通得很好，而且籃球打得很棒。
（1）be good/great at (doing) sth.擅長（做）某事后接名詞或動名詞；
同義短語：do well in (doing) sth.多用于描述學業、技能等方面的“做得好”。
例句: My sister is good at playing the piano. She practices every day.
我妹妹擅長彈鋼琴。她每天都練習。
例句: He did well in the science competition because he prepared thoroughly.
他在科學競賽中表現很好，因為他準備得很充分。
（2）communicate with sb.和某人交流/溝通communicate 為不及物動詞，需加 with 后接對象；
名詞形式：communication不可數名詞，表“交流、溝通”；可數名詞表“通訊方式”。
例句: Children need to learn how to communicate with their peers effectively.
孩子們需要學習如何有效地與同齡人溝通。
Good communication is the key to a successful relationship.
良好的溝通是成功關系的關鍵。
We depend on many kinds of communications technologies.
我們依賴各種通訊技術。
make good use of sth.充分利用use 前可加 good（好的）、full（充分的）等形容詞修飾。
同義表達：make full use of / put sth. to good use把某物好好利用起來。
例句: We should make good use of our spare time to learn new skills.
我們應該充分利用空閑時間來學習新技能。
3. A good learner always makes good use of their strengths. 一個好的學習者總是善于利用自己的優勢.
