Dear Diary,
I’m back at school. After a long summer break, it was so nice to see my classmates again!
On Monday, I got up early. I met all my classmates at school. We talked, laughed, and shared stories about the fun things we did over the summer. Li Lin told us about her trip to Dalian. She bought many postcards for us.

It was a tie game until the other team scored in the last minute. I felt a little sad about losing, but playing our best was still lots of fun!

share意為”分享“，“share...with... 意為 “與…… 分享……”，表示和別人分享自己的東西、想法、經歷等。

tell sb. about sth. 意為“告訴某人關于某事”。

（1）volunteer作動詞時，意為“自愿做；無償做”，常用 結構有：
· volunteer to do sth. 自愿做某事
· volunteer for sth. 自愿參與某事
· volunteer as... 自愿當……
She volunteers to help the old. 她自愿幫助老人。
Many students volunteer for the art festival. 很多學生自愿參與藝術節。
5. Wang Mei went to volunteer in a mountain village. 王梅去一個山村做志愿工作。
（2）volunteer作名詞時，意為“志愿者”，是可數名詞，可在句中作主語、賓語等。
The volunteer works in the community center.
這名志愿者在社區中心工作 。
5. During the gym class on Wednesday, we played football.在周三的體育課上，我們踢足球了。
play football表示 “踢足球” 。在英語中，play與球類名詞連用時，球類名詞前一般不加任何冠詞 。
They often play football on weekends.
在周末他們經常踢足球。
（1）tie作名詞時，可表示 “領帶” 或比賽 “平局” ，在句中作主語、賓語等。
He wears a red tie. 他系著一條紅領帶 。
The game ends in a tie. 比賽以平局結束 。
6. It was a tie game until the other team scored in the last
minute. 直到對方在最后一分鐘得分，比賽才打成平局。
（2）tie作動詞時，意為“系；捆綁；連接 ”，常用結構有：
· tie sth.（up） 系住某物；捆綁某物
· tie...to... 把…… 系到…… 上
Tie your shoes tightly. 把你的鞋帶系緊 。
He ties the dog to the tree. 他把狗拴到樹上。
look forward to意為 “期待；盼望”，表達對未來某事或某人的熱切期望。to是介詞，后面接名詞、代詞或動詞-ing 形式作賓語。
She is looking forward to the party. 她期待著這個派對。
We are looking forward to seeing you again.
我們期待著再次見到你。
