A study that surveyed over 10,000 high school students across the world presents a rough picture of their preferences and influential factors. To gain comprehensive insights, quantitative questionnaires and qualitative interviews have been employed.A key finding reveals a striking trend that nearly 45% of the participants show interest in STEM related careers in fields such as technology, engineering, and mathematics. The attraction of these fields, often fueled by innovation and promise of solving global challenges, highlights the impact of technological revolutions on young minds.Contrasting to this tech driven enthusiasm, a significant minority—approximately 20%—desires careers in creative industries and humanities on account of the lasting appeal of art, literature, and social sciences. In their opinion, personal achievements in contributing to cultural enrichment matters more. The influence of societal factors is also obvious. After the low economic period, job security sticks out and becomes the prime consideration. In regions experiencing high unemployment rates, there is a noticeable lean towards professions in healthcare and education, perceived as more stable during economic downturns. To our great amazement, the Gen Z's environmental awareness makes a difference to their career choice as well. 15% of students expressed a desire to work in sustainability focused roles, indicating a growing awareness about the planet's well being among them. Many interviewees said that they hope to have a part to play in renewable energy, conservation, and climate policy. The findings strengthen the necessity for educational institutions and policy makers to make adjustments to keep up with what kids hope for. Meanwhile, parents' providing a family environment that encourages exploration and creativity is of equal importance. Only by doing so may the Gen Z better handle the tricky job world, tackle challenges ahead and truly make a difference. 1.Which of the following has the largest number of students A.Students making tech driven choices.B.Students feeling challenged in STEM.C.Students willing to contribute to cultural enrichment.D.Students interested in sustainability focused roles. 根據(jù)第二段中的“A key finding ... engineering, and mathematics.”、第三段中的“Contrasting to this tech driven enthusiasm ... and social sciences.”及倒數(shù)第二段中的“15% of students ... well being among them.” A。2.What drives some students to choose careers in healthcare A.Personal passion. A study that surveyed over 10,000 high school students across the world presents a rough picture of their preferences and influential factors. To gain comprehensive insights, quantitative questionnaires and qualitative interviews have been employed. A key finding reveals a striking trend that nearly 45% of the participants show interest in STEM related careers in fields such as technology, engineering, and mathematics.
