Do you know any books of this kind
A poor woodcutter's children, Tyltyl and Mytyl, are sent by a fairy to
find the Blue Bird of Happiness for her sick granddaughter.
Using a magic diamond, they bring household objects(like Dog, Cat, Bread, and Light) to life and journey through magical lands visiting the past, confronting fears in darkness, seeing the future, and discovering false joys.
Though they find blue birds everywhere, none lasts.When they return home empty handed, they discover their own pet dove has turned blue. They give it to the sick girl, who is healed, but the bird flies away. Tyltyl learns that true happiness isn't far away-it's found in kindness, gratitude, and the simple joys of home.
It's the story of a naughty wooden puppet who makes many mistakes and gets into lots of trouble but eventually learns to be good and truthful, earning his wish to become a real boy. lt's a classic story about growing up and learning right from wrong.
Many works of literature have described characters in search of their values. Some good examples are The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, The Blue Bird and The Adventures of Pinocchio.

1. What kind of book is it
kind of 稍微 有點兒常用來修飾形容詞,可與a little互換。
e.g. The math problem is kind of difficult.這道數(shù)學題有點兒難。
e.g. The dog is kind of/a little cute.這只狗有點兒可愛。
①〔名詞〕種類;類型;類別
a kind of... 一種… all kinds of... 各種各樣的…
different kinds of... 不同種類的…
e.g. This is a kind of pen.這是一種鋼筆。
②〔形容詞〕和藹的;親切的
be kind to sb.對某人和藹
It's kind of sb. to do sth.某人做某事真是太好了。
e.g. Our teacher is kind to us. 我們的老師對我們很和藹。
e.g. It's very kind of you to help me. 你幫助我真是太好了。

注意 此短語中 I like making friends 我喜歡結(jié)交朋友。friend用復數(shù)形式

make sb. sth.= make sth. for sb. 為某人制作某物

3. Lots of exciting things happen......
大量;許多 lots of( =a lot of) 既可以修飾可數(shù)名詞復數(shù),又可以修飾
不可數(shù)名詞, 用于肯定句中。
e.g. Lots of people like yangge very much. 很多人非常喜歡秧歌。
e.g. There is lots of/a lot of milk in the glass. 他璃杯里有許多牛奶。
4. He comes up with an idea to make a boat to ...
come up with 想出;提出(主意、計劃、回答等)
后面常跟idea,plan,answer 等名詞,相當于 think up.
e.g. Can't you come up with a better idea
