單元重點：1、學習描述人物特征的相關詞匯：old, young, funny, kind, strict,polite, hard-working, helpful, clever, shy 等；
2、學會用He/She’s kind /....介紹自己的老師或朋友的特征和相貌，并會詢問他人What’s he/she like
3、能在相應的情景下使用句型Is he/she young /... Yes, he/she is. No, he/she isn’t.能用所學語言知識詞匯就人物的性格進行問答；
4、能借助圖片、音頻、視頻等資源完成相應練習；
5、學習字母y在單詞末尾的發音規律，并能準確讀出相應的單詞，能區分y在單詞不同位置發音的不同，并完成相應的練習。
本課時重點：1、學習5個有關性格、品質等特征的單詞：polite, helpful, shy, clever, hard-working；
2. 能夠在語境中準確運用這5個單詞來描述人物性格等特征；
3. 能夠完成為圖文連線活動并根據結果展開問答。
教學過程
Warming-up
Free talk: What’s he/she like He/She’s ....
Presentation
呈現Let’s learn部分的圖片，讓學生看一看想一想。
接著視聽這部分的內容，并回答問題，并對圖片中的人物進一步進行描述。
觀看視頻后呈現答案，并學習polite, helpful, shy, clever, hard-working
Let’s act
讓學生說一說，再演一演，進一步熟悉相應的單詞。
Talk in pairs: 繼續對話活動操練語言知識。
Let’s say: 運用準確和完整的語言描述自己的朋友。
Practice
Match and say:完成P8的活動，連線并說一說。
