單元重點：1、學習有關建筑物的單詞和詞組：science museum, post office, bookstore, cinema, hospital，學習表達方位的短語turn left, turn right, go straight等；
2、學會用這些詞匯描述身邊的建筑物的位置，會指引方向，能就問路做出相應的回答;
3、能借助圖片、音頻、視頻等資源完成相應練習;
4、學會討論生活中哪種工具能幫助人們找到自己想去的地方，能借助圖片等信息完成文章的閱讀;。
5、知道英語句子有升降調，并在教師幫助下找到一般規律，正確朗讀句子。
本課時重點：1、通過討論車輛中哪種工具能幫助人們找到自己想去的地方來激活學生的背景知識、儲備詞匯；
2、 通過閱讀問題訓練學生在語篇中捕捉不同類型的信息，學會根據上下文猜新詞的能力；推理獲得教材此部分提供的閱讀理解題；
3、 能根據閱讀所獲取的信息寫出文章梗概，為復述故事做提綱；
4、 知道英語句子有升降調，并在教師幫助下找到一般規律，正確朗讀句子。
教學過程
Warming-up
Let’s sing: 通過歌曲復習學過的語言知識，為閱讀文本做好鋪墊。
Pre-reading
Think and say：可以幫助我們旅行的工具有哪些。
2. Let’s say:完成P8的活動，想一想哪些工具可以幫我們找到地方。
While-reading:
提出問題，讓學生們思考：在Robin的幫助下，他們是如何找到餐廳的。
找出文本中有關路線的描述的句子，讀一讀，說一說。
繼續通過問題學習課文。
