單元重點：1、了解并運用形容詞的比較級對人物的年齡、身高、體重等特征做出比較，并理解比較級和最高級的基本構詞規律；
2、聽、說、讀、寫，并在情景中運用句型：How tall … It’s/I’m … than … Who is … than you 比較動物、人物等的信息;能用What size are your shoes 等句子詢問并回答；
3、 能夠在語境中理解生詞dinosaur, hall, metre, than及both的意思，并能正確發音；
4、能夠完成各部分的任務活動。
本課時重點：1、能夠在圖片和教師的幫助下理解對話大意，并回答讀后問題；
2、能夠聽、說、讀、寫，并在情景中運用句型：How tall … It’s/I’m … than … Who is … than you 比較動物、人物等的信息；
3、能夠在語境中理解生詞dinosaur, metre, than的意思，并能正確發音；
4、能夠完成對比同學與自己身高和年齡的活動。
教學過程
Warming-up
Welcome to the Dinosaurs Museum!讓學生們視聽歌曲，感受恐龍博物館里的各種恐龍的形態；
接著讓學生將這些恐龍的形態描述出來。
Presentation
Zhang Peng和Mike也在恐龍博物館，我們一起去看看吧。
完成Let’s try部分的任務，再說一說。
提出問題，大廳里最高的恐龍有多高，讓學生視聽動畫并回答問題。
Practise.
1. Let’s say:逐步呈現形容詞，讓學生說出這些詞的比較級和最高級。
2．Let’s say，繼續提出問題，讓學生進一步學習對話內容，接著進行問答活動。
3. Let’s say，將小朋友們的身高、年齡列出來，讓學生們進行比較并說一說。
Talk in pairs.
讓學生們提問身邊的同學或者朋友，然后再根據提問的結果說一說。
