Language points
1. Welcome to Class 1, Grade 7！ 歡迎來到七年級一班！
(1) Welcome 作感嘆詞時，意為“歡迎”。用于對剛剛到達的人表示歡迎。welcome to意為“歡迎來到……”，其后跟表示地點的here、there、home等副詞時，省略to。例如：
Welcome to Guangxi! 歡迎來到廣西！
Hi, welcome home. 嗨，歡迎回家。
(2) “Class 1, Grade 7”意為“七年級一班”，也可以寫作“Class One, Grade Seven”(首字母要大寫)。英語中的地點按從小到大的順序排列，這和漢語正好相反。
2. I’m 12 years old.
同義句: I’m 12.
主語+be +數詞+year(s)old : 某人……歲
(其中year(s) old可以省略。)
e.g.
杰克的爺爺70歲了。
Jack’s grandpa is seventy (years old).
Daniel的姐姐25歲了。
Daniel’s sister is 25 (years old).

句型：主語+ be + full+ of 充滿……
( 其中動詞 be的形式由主語的人稱和數決定 )

Sandy does well in writing, but Amy isn’t good at it.

be good at …/ do well in… 擅長……
(后面跟名詞、代詞或 v-ing形式)
他擅長英語。
桑迪擅長寫作，但艾米不擅長。
托尼擅長交友。
e.g.
6. I often play football after school. 我經常在放學后踢足球。
(1) play football 意為“踢足球”。通常表示“一日三餐、球類運動、棋牌類”等名詞前不用冠詞。例如：
play basketball/table tennis/chess/cards 打籃球/打乒乓球/下棋/打牌
have breakfast/lunch/supper 吃早餐/中餐/晚餐
拓展： 1) play + the + 樂器
2) play with sb./sth.和某人/某物玩
(2) after school 意為“放學后”, after 是介詞，意為“在……之后”，通常指時間上的“以后”。類似的短語有：after class/lunch/work 課后/午餐后/下班后
7. He is smart and always ready to others.
be ready to do 準備做某事，為做某事做好了準備，樂意做某事。
后跟動詞原型。而前面有always表示“隨時準備做某事或樂于做某事”。
e.g. I'm ready to cook dinner. 我準備做晚飯
I am ready to help you 我隨時可幫助你(樂意)
拓展： be ready for 指“為……做好準備”，后面跟名詞
e.g. I am ready for the test. 我已經為考試做好準備。(沒有樂意的意思)
8. He is interested in science.
be interested in 對……感興趣；喜歡做……
后接in sb./sth. 或者 in doing sth.，表示對什么感興趣，對什么關心。
1、be interested in+sb.，表示對某人感興趣。
e.g. I’m interested in you. 我對你很關注哦。
2、be interested in+sth.，表示對某物感興趣。
e.g. The ants are interested in sugar. 螞蟻對糖青睞有加。
3、be interested in+doing sth.，表示對做某事感興趣。
e.g. They are interested in playing basketball. 他們對打籃球興趣。
