傳說蒙自城的南湖舊時風景優美，常有文墨客攻書讀詩于此。有位楊秀才，經常去湖心亭內攻讀，其妻每飯菜送往該處。秀才讀書刻苦，往往學而忘食，以至常食冷飯涼菜，身體日漸不支。其妻焦慮心疼，思付之余把家中母雞殺了，用砂鍋燉熟，給他送去。待她再去收碗筷時，看見送去的食物原封未動，丈夫仍如癡如呆在一旁看書。只好將飯菜取回重熱，當她拿砂鍋時卻發現還燙乎乎的，揭開蓋子，原來湯表面覆蓋著一層雞油、加之陶土器皿傳熱不佳，把熱量封存在湯內。以后其妻就用此法保溫，另將一些米線、蔬菜、肉片放在熱雞湯中燙熟，趁熱給丈夫食用。后來不少都效仿她的這種創新憙制，烹調出來的米線確實鮮美可口，由于楊秀才從家到湖心亭要經過一座小橋，大
家就把這種吃法稱之"過橋米線”。
經過歷代滇味廚師改進創新，“過橋
米線"成為滇南的一道著名小吃。

其同義短語為 one after another，都用來描述一系列事物逐個發生或呈現的情況。可以修飾動詞、形容詞或者其他副詞，在句子中可以放在動詞前或者句末。

Hi! My favourite dish is Scrambled Eggs with Tomatoes
(西紅柿炒雞蛋). It has a harmonious blend of flavors and is
extremely easy to make.
Here's how to make it. First, wash two tomatoes and cut them into pieces. Then, break three eggs into a bowl and stir them well, adding a little salt. Next, heat some oil in a pan. Pour the beaten eggs into the pan and fry until they set and are lightly browned. Take the eggs out. After that, put the tomato pieces into the same pan. Cook and stir them until they become soft. Finally, add the fried eggs back to the pan. Mix them well and cook for another minute. Add a bit of sugar and salt if needed.
It's simple but really delicious!

My favorite dish is Braised Eggplant (紅燒茄子). I like it mainly
because it tastes incredibly delicious. The soft-cooked eggplant absorbs
the savory sauce, creating a rich and satisfying flavor. Also, it reminds
me of the warm family dinners, which adds a special touch to it.
Here's how to make it. First, wash the eggplants and cut them into chunks. Then, heat some oil in a pan. Put the eggplant chunks into the pan and fry until they turn golden - brown. Next, add some minced garlic and stir-fry until fragrant. After that, pour in a mixture of soy sauce, a bit of sugar, and a little water. Let it simmer until the eggplants are tender and the sauce thickens. Finally, sprinkle some chopped scallions on top.
It's really a great-tasting dish!

Instructions:

Next, for the sauce, add the beef to the pot and cook until it changes colour.
After that, add the tomatoes and cook for 30 minutes.
Then, cook the spaghetti until they are ready.
Finally, put the spaghetti on a plate and pour the beef and tomato sauce on top.
Add some cheese and serve.
