紅場（Red Square）位于俄羅斯首都莫斯科市中心，臨莫斯科河，是莫斯科最古老的廣場 。紅場的北面為俄羅斯國家歷史博物館，東面是莫斯科國立百貨商場，西側是列寧墓和克里姆林宮的紅墻及三座高塔，在列寧墓上層修建有主席臺。每當俄羅斯重要儀式時，領導人會站在列寧墓上觀禮閱兵 。

亞歷山大花園(Alexander Garden)，是克里姆林宮紅墻外的一個長方形公園，由上園、中園和下園三部分組成，總長度約 904 米，寬約 150 米?；▓@始建于 1821 年，是以沙皇亞歷山大一世的名字命名的皇家花園 。
雕像基座的側面有浮雕，一面展現的是 1813 年 10 月 4 - 7 日萊比錫郊外戰役場景，另一面呈現的是 1814 年 3 月 19 日勝利者亞歷山大一世進入巴黎的畫面。
