Good morning! My name is Li Heng. I graduated from this school ten years ago. and I am now working as a translator. Today I am very happy to be here and share some of my English learning experiences with you.

We should build confidence in our learning. When I began learning English，I found it so hard. I was afraid to speak English before the class. “You can start by making a study plan. Don′t worry about making mistakes，” my teacher told us. I followed her advice. I read the words and passages aloud every morning and I tried to speak loudly in class. I began to feel confident.

Which ways work best for you Try them and find out! As for me，I wrote about my daily experiences and feelings in my diary. I watched a lot of English cartoons and movies. All these worked.

ago 與 before
ago “時間段＋ago”表示的時間以現在為基準，意為“一段時間以前”，常用于一般過去時，ago不能單獨作狀語使用
before ①“before＋時間點”表示“在某個具體的時間之前”，before 可單獨在句中作狀語。
② before 后還可接人或地點，表示“在······前面”

advice [名詞] 建議；勸告；忠告
advice 為不可數名詞，表示“一條建議”用 apiece of advice；表示“兩條及兩條以上建議”用two/three/... pieces of advice；表示“一些建議”用 some advice.

① advice 的常見搭配：
ask sb. for advice 向某人尋求建議
follow/take one′s advice 聽從/采納某人的建議
give advice 提建議
② advise [動詞] 建議；勸告
其后接名詞、代詞、動詞 -ing 形式或 that 從句。
常見搭配：
advise sb.(not)to do sth. 意為“建議某人 (不要) 做某事”。
I would advise you not to tell him. 我建議你別告訴他。

aloud 強調發出的聲音能被人聽見或大聲地說、喊等，常與 read、call、cry、shout 等動詞連用，無比較級和最高級。

aloud 副詞 大聲地；出聲地 含“使聽得到”或“大聲地”的意味，無比較級和最高級
loudly 副詞 大聲地；響亮地 含“喧鬧”的意味，通常有令人討厭或打擾別人的意思，可指人聲、敲門聲或其他各種聲音
loud 形容詞 響 亮 的；大 聲 的；喧嘩的 作表語或定語，in a loud voice 意為“大聲地”
副詞 大 聲 地；響亮地 常與 speak、sing、laugh、talk等連用，有比較級，常與 too、very、so 等詞連用，放在動詞之后起修飾作用
