分類：根據(jù)其作用分為時間、地點、原因、條件、目的、結(jié)果、讓步、比較和方式等從句。

定義：在句中起名詞、形容詞或副詞作用的非謂語動詞形式。無人稱和數(shù)的限制。
句法功能：在句中可作主語、表語、賓語、補足語、定語、狀語成分。
不定式 (infinitives)
動詞不定式

作主語 To learn English well is not easy.
It’s not easy to learn English well.
作表語 His dream is to be a pilot.
作賓語 want to do, learn to do, plan to do, refuse to do,agree to do...
作補足語 tell sb. to do, ask sb. to do, encourage sb. to do, invite sb. to do ...
作定語 something to drink, a good place to visit,
作狀語(目的、結(jié)果、原因) He got up early to catch the first bus.

注意：
1. 動詞不定式可以和what/where/when/how/which等疑問詞連用，在句中充當(dāng)某種成分。
I don’t know how to repair my computer.
2. 使役動詞make/let/have及感官動詞see/hear/watch/notice等后接不帶to的動詞不定式作賓語補足語。
The boss made them work 12 hours a day.
