your exchange trip. You're going to experience life in London
and learn about the British culture. Please remember that all
of you must arrive at the airport before 6:00 a.m. on Saturday,
the 6th of November. Are you excited about going on the
exchange trip
Students: Yes!
Su Mei: I'm really nervous, Mr Liu. I’ve never visited another country.
Mr Liu: Don't worry, Su Mei. You'll be fine. For the next two weeks in
London, you're going to stay with your host family. They’ve
already planned fun weekend activities for you.

Mr Liu: On weekdays, you’re going to have classes at Woodpark School.

In my opinion, exchange trips can help students from different countries understand each other better. When they stay with a host family and meet local people, they get to learn about different ways of life.
Students become more independent. They learn to take care of themselves, like planning their days or solving small problems alone.
They also can improve communication skills. Talking with local people, classmates, or host families helps them get better at speaking and understanding others.
What are the benefits of exchange trips
They can practise another language every day. Talking with others in real life makes their language skills better .
They also understand different cultures. They see new traditions, festivals, or foods, and learn why people think and act in different ways.
