課標要求 （2022版）《義務教育英語課程標椎》指出在語境中理解詞匯的含義，在運用中逐步積累詞匯；在特定語境中，運用詞匯描述事物、行為、過程和特征，表達與主題相關的主要信息和觀點。能用簡短的句子描述所學的與中外文化有關的具體事物：初步具有觀察、識別、比較中外文化異同的能力;能識別、提煉、概括語篇的關鍵信息、主要內容、主題意義和觀點。
教材分析 What: 本課時是B部分的一節詞匯課，考慮到單元主題的學習的遞進性，所以先將子話題“Meet our classmates”放在第一課時，先認識我們的同學，再到認識各科任老師。教材通過Miss White帶領新同學Oliver來班級認識班上的同學而展開對話，詢問、介紹班上同學的性格特點。Why: 教材情景中對話交流用到詢問同學們的性格特點的語言可以幫助學生描述人物性格或品質特征，引導學生樹立正確的審美觀，學會欣賞他人，尊重他人。How: 本節課是一節單詞課，教材主情景圖先通過Miss White向Oliver介紹班級上同學們的性格特點，學習句型：This is.../That is...He/She’s...，然后再讓Oliver主動融入班集體，讓班長Amy帶領Oliver了解其他同學的性格特點，運用句型詢問同學們的性格特點，如What’s he/she like He’s/ She’s...，在語境中理解本節課的核心單詞polite, shy, helpful, hard-working, clever的語用和語義。
學情分析 能力基礎：經過三年的英語學習，學生具了一定的聽、說、讀、寫能力，能讀懂語言簡單、主題相關的簡短語篇，獲取具體信息，理解主要內容，能運用所學語言與他人進行簡單的交流。 知識基礎：學生在三年級下冊第四單元中學過句型：Where is...？It's in/on/under...來詢問物品的位置，在四年級上冊unit4 My home中，學過地點詞匯：living room, library，study，garden等，學生已有的知識儲備為本節課的學習打下了基礎
核心素養目標 1.聽、說、讀、寫單詞polite, shy, helpful, hard-working, clever，并能在語境中運用這五個單詞描述人物性格或品質特征；（學習理解）2.在實際情境中運用句型What’s he/she like He’s/ She’s...，運用句型詢問同學們的性格特點，并能根據教師已給出的語言框架介紹自己的好朋友。（應用實踐）3.讀懂繪本故事《Every face is different》樹立正確的審美觀，學會欣賞和尊重他人；（遷移創新）

(外貌）I like my __________. 學生經過小組討論后，選出自己最喜歡的同學，并向大家介紹，根據語言框架描述. 本階段的學習活動旨在幫助學生在遷移創新的語境中，創造性地運用所學語言，交流自己自己老師的性格特點，并說說自己喜歡什么性格的老師。學生從課本走向現實生活，在交流、分享、感悟的過程中，發展語用能力，讓學生明白要學會欣賞和尊重每位老師的性格特點，樹立正確的審美觀。
