1.Every year there is a Spring Festival in China. Usually it is in January or February. It is the most important festival in China.
2.Before it comes, everyone has to prepare things. They buy pork, beef, chicken, fruits and many other things. And they often make a special kind of food—“dumplings”. It means “get together”. On the day before the festival, parents buy new clothes for their children. Children also buy presents for their parents. On the Spring Festival Eve（除夕）, all the family members get back to their hometown. This is a happy moment. Some sing and dance, some play cards and others get the dinner ready. When they enjoy the meal, they give each other the best wishes. During the Spring Festival, relatives and friends get together to talk about their own minds, ideas and feelings, eat dumplings, drink wine, etc. Children can wear new clothes, get lucky money in red paper, set off firecrackers and so on.
3.In modern times, however, the old ways of spending the New Year no longer meet the needs of young people. They have kinds of new ways to celebrate the traditional holiday.
4.In today's society, people are not as stable as before, changing jobs and moving to another city to work is quite often. Having a big family reunion dinner is difficult. “We are going to walk by the Yellow River, then go to the Shanxi countryside to celebrate the New Year," said Li. “I feel that I can only have a real traditional New Year in the countryside. Everything in the countryside is very traditional, just like how people celebrated the New Year in old times, while in the city there isn't much holiday atmosphere（氣氛）.”

Dragon Boat Festival is a Chinese traditional holiday which falls on May 5th in the lunar calendar.
Dragon Boat Festival is celebrated in memory of Qu Yuan, a famous Chinese poet, and minister known for his patriotism and contributions to classical poetry, who eventually became a national hero.
We have a lot of traditions for the festival during the three-day holiday. We eat zongzi and drink realgar wine. There are dragon-boat races around the city. We can enjoy the grand scene. Every family may hang wormwood on the doors in order to drive away the bad things. Children wear the tiger suits to show their strengths.
Personally speaking, Dragon Boat is great fun. I can enjoy myself and have a good rest! Hope you can enjoy our Dragon Boat Festival too!
