on 強調專業性、學術性或嚴肅性，內容通常是系統的、深入的，涉及理論、研究或專門領域。about 側重日常性、通俗性或泛泛而談，內容更偏向非正式的內容。
She told me a story about her pet dog. 她給我講了一個關于她寵物狗的故事。

2. What’s the largest animal in the world
世界上最大的動物是什么？
largest是large的最高級形式。最高級前面一般會有定冠詞the進行修飾。
形容詞和副詞的最高級一般分為規則變化和不規則變化。規則變化如下：
構成方法 最高級
單音節詞和部分雙音節詞 一般情況下，最高級詞尾加-est tallest；shortest；fastest
以字母e結尾的詞，最高級詞尾加-st largest；latest
重讀閉音節詞尾只有一個輔音字母時，先雙寫該輔音字母，然后最高級詞尾加-est biggest；fattest；thinnest
以“輔音字母+ y”結尾的雙音節詞，先把y改為i，然后最高級詞尾加-est easiest；heaviest；earliest
多音節詞和部分雙音節詞 詞前加most構成最高級 most beautiful；most popular
不規則變化如下：
原級 最高級

bad / badly worst
many / much most
little least
far farthest
furthest
（1）“one of + 限定詞 + 復數名詞 / 代詞”表示 “…… 中的一個”，
強調在整體中選取一個個體。

這是我看過的最好的書之一。
3. Well, I think moss is one of the oldest plants.
嗯，我認為苔蘚是最古老的植物之一。
（2）one of 結構作主語時，要注意主謂一致，謂語動詞應用單數。
One of the students is from the UK.
這些學生中有一個來自英國。

這些書中有一本缺頁了。
（3）one of 常與 形容詞最高級 連用，構成“one of the + 形容詞最高級 + 復
數名詞”，表示 “最…… 的…… 之一”。
