My Holiday in Scotland
Last autumn, my family took a train to Scotland for a holiday. We stayed in a comfortable house in the countryside with beautiful scenery. I live in a big city, so everything there seemed so different. For example, beside the house, there was a huge forest.
Read Gina’s holiday and write down the things that she did.

On the last day, early in the morning, I went to the forest to explore. While there, something made a noise. I turned around and was surprised to see a deer.
I ran home and told my parents what I saw. My mum smiled and said, “The deer is probably looking for food and hoping to get some from you.” What a wonderful experience I had! I really hope I can go back again.

A holiday is a time to relax, enjoy life, and make memories.
1. Don’t spend too much on holiday shopping, or you might easily go over budget. 不要在假期購物上花費太多，否則你可能輕易地超出預算。
（1） might 【情態動詞】 其后跟動詞原形。
①意為“可能”，表示推測，語氣比may 更弱，可能性更小。
It might rain tomorrow.明天可能會下雨。
②意為“可以”，用于請求許可，比may的語氣更加委婉、客氣。

（2） budget
①可作名詞，意為“預算”。
·set a budget 制訂預算
·within budget 在預算內
We need to set a budget for our vacation this year.

②可作動詞，意為“把……編入預算；精打細算”。
·budget…for sth 為某物編制…… (預算)

(1) turn around 轉身；翻轉
She turned around when she heard her name.
當她聽到她的名字時，她轉過身來。
拓展 turn 的相關短語：

我轉過身，驚訝地看到了一只鹿。
(2) surprised 是形容詞，意為“驚奇的；驚訝的 ”。其主語一般是人，通常在句中作表語。
·be surprised at sth 對某事感到驚訝
·be surprised to do sth 對做某事感到驚訝

我對他突然做出的決定感到很驚訝。
She was surprised to see her old friend in the supermarket.

I had many wonderful trips. But the most unforgettable one was the trip to Mount Huangshan with my parents last summer vacation.
We climbed the mountain and enjoyed the beautiful scenery along the way. There were lots of strange rocks, the Sea of Clouds and beautiful wild flowers. It was really tiring during the climbing, but we kept on climbing until
