The internet has both positive effects and negative effects on teenagers.
No doubt it helps us develop interests, like sharing science fiction reviews online and receiving feedback — while allowing online learning and keeping friendships alive through constant connectivity.
However, too much social media use can be harmful. Teenagers’ personal information may leak (泄露), and fake (虛假的) news spreads rapidly. For example, some spend hours in scrolling Douyin, neglecting (忽視) real-life interactions.
In conclusion, the internet is a powerful tool that requires balanced usage.

Should We Trust AI
As a middle school student, I believe AI is both helpful and risky. For example, AI tutors like “ChatStudy” explain math problems clearly, saving us time. However, last year, my friend got wrong answers from an AI chatbot during homework. AI lacks human judgment.
We should use AI tools wisely — double-checking information and asking teachers when unsure. Technology is powerful, but I think human wisdom is more reliable.
