Grammar Rules
動詞不定式作賓語
在英語中我們把“to+動詞原形”的結構稱為動詞不定式,動詞不定式沒有人稱和數的變化,在句中可以作賓語。
e.g. I wanted to see the Beijing opera, so Li Ling offered to take me there. 我想看京劇,所以李玲就提出帶我去看。
We only planned to watch for an hour. 我們原先只打算看一個小時。
I hope to understand more next time.我希望下次能懂得多一些。
常見的接不定式作賓語的動詞
1)希望類:want(想要), hope(希望), wish(愿望)
e.g. I want to learn English well.
She hopes to visit Paris.
2)決定類:decide(決定), plan(計劃), choose(選擇)
e.g. They decided to leave early.
He plans to study medicine
3)同意/拒絕:agree(同意), refuse(拒絕)
e.g. We agreed to help him.
She refused to answer the question.
4)其他常見動詞:need(需要), promise(承諾), learn(學習)
e.g. You need to practice more.
He promised to come on time.
動名詞作賓語
動名詞是動詞加 -ing 的形式(如 reading, playing),某些動詞后必須用動名詞作賓語。
e.g. She enjoys learning about different cultures and traditions from around the world.她喜歡了解世界各地不同的文化和傳統。
He practises playing the guitar for two hours every day.
他每天練習兩個小時吉他。
常見的接動名詞作賓語的動詞
1)愛好/厭惡類:enjoy(享受), like/love(喜歡), hate(討厭)
e.g. She enjoys singing.
I hate waking up early.
2)完成/繼續:finish(完成), keep(繼續), practice(練習)
e.g. He finished doing his homework.

3)建議/考慮:suggest(建議), consider(考慮), mind(介意)
e.g. They suggested going hiking.

4)其他常見動詞:avoid(避免), admit(承認), miss(錯過)
e.g. Avoid eating too much junk food.

接不定式或動名詞作賓語的動詞
需要注意的是,還有一些動詞,既可以用不定式又可以用動名詞作賓語,但表達的意義可能不同。
1) remember/forget
remember/forget to do(記得/忘記要做某事,未做)
e.g. Remember to turn off the lights when you leave the room.
remember doing(記得做過某事,已做)
e.g. I remember seeing him before.
2) stop
stop to do(停下來去做另一件事)
e.g. He stopped to talk to me.
stop doing(停止正在做的事)
e.g. Stop talking, please!
3) try
try to do(努力做某事)
e.g. I tried to solve the problem.
try doing(嘗試做某事)
e.g. Try using this method.
一般來說,用不定式作賓語時,所表示的多為將來的行為。用動名詞作賓語時,所表示的多為正在做的行為。
