1. 當主句是現在時態時，從句可以根據實際情況選擇不同時態。包括一般現在時、現在進行時、一般將來時和現在完成時。

賓語從句(Object clause)的時態
2. 當主句是過去時態時，從句一般使用相應的過去時態。
包括一般過去時、過去進行時、過去將來時和過去完時。

3. 當賓語從句為客觀事實、客觀真理時，要一般現在時。
He told me that the earth goes round the sun.
口訣：主現隨句意，主過從過，真理永一現
以 I know 或者 I knew 開頭，組一個新的賓語從句：
