Customs of Halloween
In the past, children used to dress up as characters that were associated with the supernatural（超自然的）, like skeletons（骷髏）, goblins（小妖精）, witches（女巫）, and warlocks（術士）.
Nowadays, children (and adults) dress up as anyone they like, e.g. comic book heroes（漫畫英雄）, cartoon characters（卡通人物）, television personalities（電視明星）.
Customs of Halloween
As time progressed, this festival became more secular (世俗的：with no connection to religion) and tended to revolve around children’s activities like trick-or-treat.
