教學內容
教學重點:引導學生獲取和梳理河流、沙漠、海洋以及森林四種主要地貌景觀的特征及其對動植物生存和人類生產生活的重要影響;引導學生賞析語篇中的感嘆句和擬人修辭手法,運用所學語言描述不同地貌景觀的特征,分析其多重影響并進行簡要評價。 教學難點:啟發學生談論不同地貌景觀對人類生存發展的重要意義,探討和歸納與自然和諧共生的有效方法。
教學過程
Step 1 Free talk Have students answer the two questions on page 70 before reading the article with the help of the information in Part A on page 69. Step 2 Reading and learning 1. Have students read the rubrics and the title of the article and answer the following question. What is the article about 2. Have students look at the pictures on page 70 and answer the following questions. What are these landscapes What do you know about them 3. Have students scan the article and finish Part A on page 71. 4. Have students scan the article again and finish Part B on page 71. 5. Have students analyse the style of the article and answer the following questions. Which person is used in the article Why does the writer write the article in this way Then have students read the tip on page 70 and get to know more about personification. Why does the writer use sentences like “How amazing!” and “What a beautiful name!” in the article Step 3 Reading and practising 1. Have students describe one of the four main landscapes according to the information in Part A on page 71. 2. Have students finish Part C on page 72. Step 4 Reading and innovating 1. Have students answer question 1 in Part D on page 72. 2. Have students work in groups and discuss question 2 in Part D on page 72. 3. Have students work in groups and discuss question 3 in Part D on page 72. Each group should write several sentences and then share their opinions in class. If possible, teachers can offer students some advice. Homework Must do: Finish the Worksheet. Preview Grammar on P73.
