一、教學內容分析
本課時為文化拓展課，內容涉及一篇對話。對話為我們介紹了李明和杰克最喜歡的兩位教育家。梳理出兩人喜歡的原因，幫助學生了解中西方兩位不同的教育家，理解與感悟中外優秀文化的內涵。 通過本課時的學習，學生將了解兩個中外偉大的教育家——孔子和蘇格拉底的相關信息，感受中外不同優秀文化的內涵。
二、語篇分析
【What】 本課時包含了一段對話。在對話中李明和杰克分別介紹了自己喜歡的教育家，孔子和蘇格拉底。杰克表示自己最喜歡的教師是蘇格拉底，稱贊他很睿智，稱其為西方“教師的教師”。李明則說自己最喜歡孔子，人們也叫他孔夫子，并詢問杰克是否了解孔子。杰克表示孔子在加拿大也很有名。李明接著介紹孔子是偉大的教師，學習過音樂、數學、文學等，還教導過三千弟子。最后杰克感慨蘇格拉底和孔子都很偉大。 【Why】 本課時的對話通過李明和Jack的對話,展現了中西方不同文化背景下兩位著名教師，促進學生對中西方文化中教育理念和杰出教育家的了解，拓寬文化視野，增強文化交流意識。 引發學生對優秀教師品質和偉大教育者貢獻的思考，激勵學生學習這些教育家的精神，同時引導學生思考教育的重要性和價值。同時為學生提供日常交流中關于人物介紹和喜好表達的語言范例，幫助學生學習如何用英語描述人物特點、表達個人喜好等，提升語言運用能力?！綡ow】 語篇對話貼近日常生活交流場景，語言自然、口語化，如“That’s true!” “Sure.”等表達，便于學生理解和模仿，符合七年級學生語言學習需求和實際交流情境。 使用的詞匯和句式相對簡單，多為七年級學生已學或易于理解的內容。例如，“famous”“wise”“favourite”等基礎詞匯，以及“Who is... ”“Why do you... ”等簡單句式，有助于學生輕松掌握對話內容，同時鞏固和運用已學語言知識。對話圍繞“最喜歡的教師”這一話題展開，先分別介紹各自喜歡的教師，再對教師進行描述，最后對兩位教師進行總結，邏輯清晰，層次分明，有助于學生把握對話主旨和信息。
三、學情分析
七年級學生學此對話，知識上，詞匯有陌生專業詞，語法時態運用易混，文化背景了解不足。能力上，聽讀理解、口語及寫作表達有欠缺。興趣易受知識難度和教學方式影響，學習遇困難易消極，需教師引導。
四、教學目標
通過本節課的學習，學生能夠： 從文中了解中外著名老師的情況，學會介紹自己喜歡的老師； 基于文本內容，提取、歸納并內化學習內容，學會正確運用本單元所學的表達喜歡、介紹人物的句式； 通過學習對話，能夠了解談論國內外的一些重要的教師，通過學習他們的優秀品格和為人處世，成為更好的自己。
五、教學重難點
【重點】 從文中了解中外著名老師的情況，學會介紹自己喜歡的老師； 基于文本內容，提取、歸納并內化學習內容，學會正確運用本單元所學的表達喜歡、介紹人物的不同句式。 【難點】 了解談論國內外的一些重要的教師。
六、教學活動設計
環節一：猜一猜，激活已知，導入新課。（5 mins） 學生根據圖片，進行猜一猜游戲，激發學生學習興趣。利用自由討論，激活學生已知，為接下來的學習做好鋪墊。

環節設計意圖:通過設計各類閱讀活動，從速讀、精讀、再讀三個層面，由淺入深的幫助學生理解文本。速讀，回答問題。再讀，然后判斷對錯，完成對文本的理解，同時培養學生通過閱讀獲取關鍵信息的能力。精讀，完成思維導圖填空，同時根據所填寫的內容，梳理出文章要表達的重點內容。最后表達自己對兩位教育家的看法，學習兩位教育家的精神。
環節三：名言配對，了解名言的內涵，感知優秀文化。（20 mins） 學生為名言配對，理解名言的含義。通過圖片了解更多的優秀教育家，感知他們身上優秀的文化。
