5AU5 Look into the future
一、單元主題
單元主題：“Look into the future”，本主題屬于“人與社會”的主題范疇，涉及“科學技術改變生活”。
主題意義： 引導學生思考科技發(fā)展對人類生活的影響和意義，積極展望未來，努力創(chuàng)造未來。
二、單元教學目標
本單元學習后，學生能夠：
1.用英語描述未來生活；
2.運用核心句型談論對未來機器人、未來城市等未來生活的猜想；
3.掌握字母y和字母組合igh、ie在單詞中的發(fā)音；
4.制作有關未來生活的海報，感受科技發(fā)展對生活的影響，積極展望未來。
三、分課時教學設計
第一課時（Get ready）
1.課時教學目標
通過本課時學習，學生能夠：
（1）借助圖片，對《小靈通漫游未來》一書有初步了解，獲取前人對未來的猜想；
（2）根據(jù)圖片，對未來生活進行簡單描述；
（3）從不同方面對未來生活展開想象和描述。

1.借助圖片，對《小靈通漫游未來》一書有初步了解，獲取前人對未來的猜想。 1. Let’s think. 學生從單元主題進入學習，理解future的含義。 2. Think and answer. 教師引導學生思考：Do you know the book Xiaolingtong Travels in the Future Who wrote it and what is it about 教師引導學生思考，鼓勵學生大膽思考和表達。
2.根據(jù)圖片，對未來生活進行簡單描述。 3. Look and say. 學生觀察圖片，思考并回答問題：What will the future be like 學習并理解詞匯3-D printed、 drive、 pet和space。 4. Let’s read. 學生朗讀與圖片相關的短語。 5. Let’s match. 學生將短語和相應的圖片進行配對。 教師觀察學生能否說出圖片內(nèi)容，理解詞匯含義。教師可以借助圖片幫助學生理解。 教師觀察學生能否把短語和相應的圖片正確配對，評價學生對短語的理解情況。
3.從不同方面對未來生活展開想象和描述。 6. Look and choose. 學生看圖思考：What do you think of the future 并用“I think people will…”進行回答。之后兩人一組進行問答。 7. Let’s summarise. 學生在教師引導下總結(jié)本課時從哪些方面談論了未來生活。 教師進行小組巡視，對有需要的學生給予幫助。 教師根據(jù)學生的理解情況，幫助學生進行總結(jié)。
作業(yè)內(nèi)容
1.讀一讀教材第50頁和第51頁的短語。 2.借助課文圖片，說一說你眼中未來的樣子。
