Jun.16 ,2024 20:19 Reading again may slow down our reading speed. So, don't do that. It's common to read something again if we realize we've missed some important messages. But sometimes, we don't need to read it again.
Jun.16 ,2024 20:24 When we started learning to read as children, we were taught to read one word at a time slowly. It's an important lesson for new learners. However, keeping on reading in this way will hold us back. After years of reading, it's unnecessary to read one word at a time. Instead, we should read groups of words when reading.
Jun.16 ,2024 20:26 Don't subvocalize. It takes time to silently say the words we're reading in our minds. If we read without subvocalization, we'll read faster. Although it may be challenging to completely avoid subvocalization, we can certainly reduce it.

A. Reading again.
B. Saying the words.

Life is a long road full of obstacles. When it comes to difficulties, an experience etched on my mind shines brightly.
After getting into the eighth grade, I started learning physics. At the beginning, it was exciting and fresh for me. However, I found it difficult to improve my physics, especially when I struggled to keep up with the class.
When I almost lost confidence, my teacher advised me to write down the knowledge that I found difficult to memorize in a notebook. After that, every time the exam was coming, I read the notebook to review those concepts and deepen my understanding of them. Thanks to this method, my grades improved and I was no longer afraid of physics.
From this experience, I have realized that right learning methods are of great importance, and with enough efforts, nothing can stand in our way.

Reading again may slow down our reading speed. So, don't do that. It's common to read something again if we realize we've missed some important messages. But sometimes, we don't need to read it again.
Jun.16,2024 20:24
When we started learning to read as children, we were taught to read one word at a time slowly. It's an important lesson for new learners. However, keeping on reading in this way will hold us back. After years of reading, it's unnecessary to read one word at a time. Instead, we should read groups of words when reading.

Don't subvocalize. It takes time to silently say the words we're reading in our minds. If we read without subvocalization, we'll read faster. Although it may be challenging to completely avoid subvocalization, we can certainly reduce it.

突破物理學習障礙
王悅冉 太原市志達中學校
