A great scientist --Qian Xuesen
Among the great scientists, I like Qian Xuesen best. He is well-known for his great achievement in China's aerospace industry.
He was born on December 11, 1911 in Shanghai. As he grew older, he showed great intelligence in Maths. After he graduated from National Chiao Tung University, he went to America for further education in 1935. Qian Xuesen returned to China in 1955 after overcoming lots of difficulties. Hard work paid off. He made great/significant contributions to China’s aerospace industry, and was known as the “Father of Chinese Aerospace”.
Qian Xuesen is such a great scientist that everyone in China will not forget him. His perseverance毅力and dedication奉獻 make him a role model for many young people. We should learn from him.

Tu Youyou is a remarkable medical scientist in China. She was born in 1930.
When young, she was deeply interested in traditional Chinese medicine and chemistry. For decades, she focused on researching antimalarial drugs. Finally, she discovered artemisinin. This discovery can effectively treat malaria patients all over the world and helps traditional Chinese medicine get more international attention.
Tu Youyou has won the Medal of the Republic. She is a great pioneer in using traditional Chinese medicine for antimalarial research. Her work saves millions of lives and inspires more people to explore traditional Chinese medicine.（約130詞 ）
