附加疑問句
附加疑問句是對陳述句所敘述的事情提出相反疑問的問句,主要表示以禮貌或委婉的語氣提出要求、詢問或確認信息等。讀時前半部分用降調,后半部分既可用升調也可用降調。通常情況下,用升調時,多表示疑問或請求;用降調時,多表示求證或希望對方同意。附加疑問句由兩部分構成:前一部分是一個陳述句,后一部分是一個簡短的疑問句。兩部分的人稱和時態應保持一致。陳述部分為肯定句時,附加疑問句用否定式,反之用肯定式。

[明規則]
1.陳述句中謂語動詞有have/has/had時附加疑問句的形式
當have/has/had為助動詞時,幫助構成完成時,附加疑問句中使用助動詞+主語。當have/has/had為實義動詞“有”時,附加疑問句可用have/has/had或借助于助動詞do/does/did。當have/has/had表示“吃,玩”等意義時,附加疑問句要借助于助動詞do/does/did。
2.陳述句中含有情態動詞時附加疑問句的形式
通常情況下,陳述部分含有情態動詞時,附加疑問句使用同樣的情態動詞。需要注意的是must表示“必須,有必要”時,疑問部分否定用mustn’t/needn’t;肯定用must。
