本單元的寫作任務是寫一篇個人簡介。個人簡介就是對個人的姓名、年齡、經歷、特長、愛好及其他情況所做的簡明扼要的書面介紹。
英語寫作中的個人簡介主要有兩種。一種是單純的自我介紹， 目的是告知對方一些個人信息；另一種個人簡介是作為應用文寫作的一部分，通過對個人的介紹來達到某種明確特定的目的，如申請某份工作，加入某個活動等，通常包括應聘信、申請信或個人介紹等，并且以第二種考查居多。對這種文章的寫作需從以下幾點入手：
1．介紹個人基本情況，主要包括姓名、年齡、愛好等；
2．陳述個人優勢(知識面、語言水平、特長愛好等)；
3．提出寫信目的，表達期望。
1．開頭部分常用表達

第一步　審題謀篇
審題
1．確定文體：應用文。
2．主體時態：文章應以一般現在時為主。
3．主體人稱：由于是個人簡歷，所以人稱應該以第一人稱為主。
謀篇
第一段：基本情況介紹(姓名、性別、住址等)，寫信目的。
第二段：介紹自己的特長、閱歷等。
第三段：表達期望。
第二步　遣詞造句

第三步　句式升級
1．把句2升級為現在分詞短語作狀語的句子。

2．用分詞作狀語合并句4和句5。
In addition，I have an outgoing personality and can speak English fluently，making it possible for me to communicate well with others.
第四步　組句成篇
用適當的過渡詞語，把以上詞匯和句式，再加上聯想內容，組成一篇80詞左右的英語短文。
