不定代詞(Indefinite Pronouns)
不指明代替任何特定名詞或形容詞的代詞叫作不定代詞。
常見的不定代詞如下：
some 一些 nobody 無人 one 一個(gè)（人或物） none 沒人或物（指兩個(gè)以上）
somebody 某人 no one 無人 another 另外一個(gè)；又一個(gè) many 很多
someone 某人 nothing 無物 other(s) 另一個(gè)（些） much 很多
something 某事；某物 everybody 每人；大家；人人 all 全體；全部 few 很少；幾乎沒有
any 一些；任何 everyone 每人 both 兩個(gè)（都） a few 一些；幾個(gè)
anybody 任何人 everything 每一件事物；一切 each 每個(gè) little 很少；幾乎沒有
anyone 任何人 either 任何一個(gè)（指兩個(gè)當(dāng)中） a little 一些；一點(diǎn)兒
anything 任何事物 neither 沒人或物（指兩個(gè)當(dāng)中）
不定代詞大都可以代替名詞和形容詞，在句子中用作主語、賓語、定語等。關(guān)于不定代詞的用法， 需要注意以下幾點(diǎn)：
1. some 和 any
這兩個(gè)代詞既可代替或修飾可數(shù)名詞，也可代替或修飾不可數(shù)名詞。some多用于肯定句，any則多用于否定句、疑問句和條件從句。例如：

但是，在“Would you like some tea ”這類疑問句中則用some，而不用any，這是因?yàn)檎f話人希望得到對(duì)方肯定的答復(fù)。
A: Are there any apples in the fridge
B: Yes, there are some. / No, there aren’t any.

B: Yes, there is some water. / No, there isn’t any water.

2. many 和 much
這兩個(gè)詞均表示“很多”，但many只代替或修飾可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù)，而much只代替或修飾不可數(shù)名詞。例如：
In the future, many people will live in outer space.
在未來，許多人將會(huì)住在外太空。
He didn’t say much about his family.
他很少談及他的家人。
I’m afraid the kids spend too much time online.
我擔(dān)心孩子們花太多時(shí)間上網(wǎng)。

3. few 與 a few; little 和 a little
few與a few代替或修飾可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù)；little與a little代替或修飾不可數(shù)名詞。few和little的意思是“很少；幾乎沒有”，側(cè)重“否定”的含義；a few和a little的意思是“一些”，側(cè)重“肯定”的含義。例如：

4. 復(fù)合不定代詞
由some、any、no、every加上-body、-one、-thing構(gòu)成的不定代詞叫作復(fù)合不定代詞。除了no one以外，其他復(fù)合不定代詞都寫成一個(gè)詞。復(fù)合不定代詞只相當(dāng)于名詞，在句中用作主語、賓語或表語。復(fù)合不定代詞作主語時(shí)，都作單數(shù)看待。例如：

巧學(xué)妙記
復(fù)合代詞有特長(zhǎng)， 修飾成分后邊藏；
如果它來作主語， 謂語單數(shù)沒商量。
some-代詞肯定句，any-代詞否、疑忙；
若是希望得肯定， some-代詞不相讓。
