used to do sth. 過去常常做某事
表示過去經常性或習慣性的動作或狀態，暗指現在已經不存了，強調過去與現在的對比。
used to的否定形式有兩種：
didn't use to或usedn't to
used to用于疑問句時，可借助助 動詞did，也可以將used提到主語 前。
They used to be good friends.
他們過去是好朋友。 (暗示現在不是了)
Mrs Brown didn’t use to / usedn’t to travel in summer.
布朗夫人過去夏天不旅游。

馬里奧，你過去很矮，對嗎？
Language points
本句是一個反義疑問句，反義疑問句的特點是“前否后肯”
或“前肯后否”，而且后半句在時態、人稱和數等方面必須
與前半句保持一致。
You are a doctor, aren’t you 你是個醫生，是嗎？
we can’t take books out, are we 我們不能把書帶出去，對嗎？
Language points
1)回答反義疑問句和回答其他一般疑問句的結構一樣。
如果答語是肯定的，用“Yes +肯定結構”。
如果答語是否定的，用“No +肯定結構”。
— He enjoys dancing, doesn’t he 他喜歡跳舞，對嗎？
—Yes, he does. / No, he doesn’t.
是的，他喜歡。/不，他不喜歡。
2) 回答陳述部分為否定句的反義疑問句時，Yes或是No的漢語意思與它們本身的詞義相反。
—You didn’t go to work, didn’t you 你沒有去上班，對嗎？
— Yes, I did. / No, I didn’t. 不，我上班了。/是的，我沒上班。

用來詢問某人的外貌特征，意為“……長什么樣？”，
相當于 what do /does +主語+like
—What’s your brother like
=What does your brother like 你哥哥長什么樣？
be like：“像……一樣”，常指品德、相貌等相像更側重人的個性特征。
look like：“看起來像……”，常指外貌上相像。
The twin sister are like their father.
He looks like his mother.
