名詞短語 (Noun Phrase)：指以一個名詞為中心構成的短語，在句中的功能相當于名詞。
名詞 短語 (Noun Phrase) 1. 名詞+and+名詞 在句中用作主語/賓語/表語/賓語補足語/狀語 men and women
2. 冠詞+名詞 a beautiful campus
3. 名詞+名詞 bus stop
4. 形容詞+名詞 red apples

形容詞短語 (AdjP)
形容詞短語 (Adjective Phrase)：指以一個形容詞為中心構成的短語，在句中的功能相當于形容詞。
形容詞短語 (Adjective Phrase) 1. 形容詞+and/but +形容詞 在句中當作表語、定語、賓語補足語或狀語 large and beautiful

副詞短語 (AdvP)
副詞短語 (Adverb Phrase)：指以一個副詞為中心構成的短語，在句中的功能相當于副詞。
副詞 短語 (Adverb Phrase) 1. 副詞+and/but +副詞 在句中可修飾動詞/形容詞/副詞和介詞等，表示時間、地點、方式等，用作表語、定語、賓語。 again and again
