1. What do you think the title means
Nothing is truly impossible because even the word "impossible" contains the phrase "I'm possible," suggesting that with effort, challenges can be overcome.
2. How do you understand Su Bingtian’s words in paragraph 5
Su Bingtian encourages young people not to let age limit them, to keep trying and pushing harder, because success comes from persistence.
3. What does the writer mean by "Everyone can be
a Su-perman!"
The writer means that anyone can achieve extraordinary success (like Su Bingtian) if they work hard and never give up. The pun "Su-perman" combines "Su" (his surname) and "Superman," implying that he is a hero, and others can be too.

1 What can you learn from Su Bingtian
From Su Bingtian, we can learn that hard work, courage to take risks, and persistence can help us overcome doubts and achieve the impossible. Despite challenges, he changed his running technique, fought his fears, and made history.
2 How do you think youngsters can write their stories
Youngsters can write their own stories by not letting fear or age limit them, daring to try new approaches, and persevering through difficulties. Like Su Bingtian, they should believe in themselves and keep pushing their limits.

Yuan and his team worked hard in fields. They studied rice day - by - day, learned from mistakes, and found ways to deal with bad weather, like using irrigation.
When Yuan Longping started researching hybrid rice, many doubted if it could work. Limited technology and funds, plus worries that bad weather might ruin experiments, were big fears.
He created hybrid rice. It greatly increased rice harvests, helping feed more people in China and worldwide.
Yuan Longping is a hero. He never gave up facing doubts. His love for helping people and hard work inspire us to fight for good dreams.

Yuan Longping faced doubts when researching hybrid rice, with limited technology / funds and fears of bad weather ruining experiments. He and his team worked tirelessly in fields, studying rice daily, learning from failures, and using irrigation to fight bad weather. He created hybrid rice, boosting harvests to feed more people in China and globally. A hero, he never gave up, inspiring us with his love for helping others and hard work to chase good dreams.
Language points
1. Nothing is impossible, the word itself says “I'm possible”. 沒有什么
事情是不可能的，即使“不可能”這個詞本身，也在說“不，可能”。
① nothing / n θ / pron.沒有任何東西；沒有事
作不定代詞，表示否定意義，相當于not...anything。
nothing在句中作主語時，謂語動詞用第三人稱單數形式。
e.g. I have nothing to worry about.
= I don’t have anything to worry about.
e.g. There is nothing interesting in today’s newspaper.
形容詞修飾nothing、anything、something等復合不定代詞時要后置。
② impossible / m p s b l/ adj.不可能發生的；辦不到的
由“im-（否定前綴）+possible（adj.可能的）”構成。
e.g. It’s impossible for me to get such great success without
their help.
e.g. Nothing is impossible if you put your heart into it.
2. Audrey Hepburn, the British actress and star of the silver screen,
said this. 英國女演員、電影明星奧黛麗·赫本說。
① British / br t / adj.英國的；英國人的
1) 可作定語或表語。
e.g. He was born in Britain but his parents aren’t British.
2) the British“英國人”，表示復數概念。
e.g. The British have a very odd sense of humour.

e.g. He was wearing a silver ring on his middle finger.

后接名詞、代詞、動詞不定式、動詞-ing形式或從句作賓語。
e.g. Children usually fear to go out alone at night.
e.g. He fears that he may lose his job, so he works hard every day.
③ hold back 阻礙發展；阻擋；控制（感情等）
為“動詞+副詞”型短語,人稱代詞作其賓語時,要放中間。
e.g. She wanted to tell him but pride held her back.
e.g. The police held back the crowd.
e.g. She managed to hold back her anger.

［不及物動詞］其后不能直接跟賓語。
succeed in （doing） sth. 在（做）某事上取得成功

不與very連用，其前有不定冠詞時應用an。

由“risk（n.危險，風險）+-y （形容詞后綴）”構成。

7. Nothing is impossible as long as you try and stick to it.
只要你嘗試并堅持下去，沒有什么是不可能的。
① as long as 只要
引導條件狀語從句。當主句為一般將來時或主句謂語
含有情態動詞時，as long as引導的條件狀語從句常用一
般現在時表示將來，即“主將從現”。
e.g. As long as you drive carefully, you will be very safe.
e.g. We can go for a picnic as long as the weather is fine.
as long as的用法還有：
（1）和……一樣長（屬于as...as結構）
The red ruler is as long as the blue one.
這把紅色的尺子和那把藍色的一樣長。
（2）長達……，達……之久
I’ve lived here for as long as 20 years.
我在此居住達20年之久。
② stick to堅持；遵守，信守
stick to doing sth.堅持做某事
e.g. You are on the way to success as long as you stick to your dreams.
e.g. She stuck to staying in the desert place and made an effort to
devote her youth.
作介詞，后接名詞、代詞或動詞-ing形式
