搜索
1 .一般情況下在詞尾加-er/-est ;
例：fast-faster-fastest; long-longer-longest
2. 以e結尾的單音節詞加-r/-st ;
例：cute-cuter-cutest; large-larger-largest
3. 以輔音字母加y結尾的詞，變y為i再加-er或-est ;
例：heavy-heavier-heaviest; funny-funnier-funniest
4. 以重讀閉音節結尾，且末尾只有一個輔音字母的詞，先雙寫這個輔音字母，再加-er或-est ;
例：big-bigger-biggest; thin-thinner-thinnest;
5. 多音節或部分雙音節詞在原級前加more或most ;
例：beautiful-more beautiful-most beautiful;

形容詞最高級前要加定冠詞the，副詞最高級前的the可省略。當有形容詞性物主代詞修飾時，可不加the。

1.主語+ be+ the+形容詞最高級+in/of ...
The blue whale is the largest and the heaviest animal in the world.
2.主語+實義動詞（+the）+副詞最高級+in/of/among ...
The cheetah runs the fastest among all land animals.
3.主語+be+ one of the+形容詞最高級+可數名詞復數+in/of ...
Bamboo is one of the fastest-growing plants in the world.
最高級的常用寶藏句型
1. 疑問詞+ be+ the+形容詞最高級，A、B or C？
Which animal is the biggest one, elephant, blue whale or rhino
2. 疑問詞+助動詞+主語+動詞原形（+the)+副詞最高級，A、B or C？
Which animal do you like best, pandas, cats, dogs
3. 主語+be + the+序數詞+形容詞最高級+可數名詞單數+in/of短語

形容詞副詞最高級的特殊用法
1. 最高級前可用序數詞，二者共同修飾后面的名詞，結構為：
the+序數詞+形容詞最高級+名詞單數。
The Yellow River is the second longest river in China.
黃河是中國的第二長的河。
2. 最高級前可加one of ，結構為：one of +the +形容詞最高級+名詞復數，
表示“最….的之一”。
He is one of the smartest students in this school.
他是這所學校中最聰明的學生之一。
上海是中國最繁華的城市之一。（提示：“one of...” 結構, busy ）
2. 在所有運動中，湯姆籃球打得最好。（提示：play basketball, well, sport ）
