疑問詞 how often (在這里助動(dòng)詞 do, does 或 did 是起疑問的作用) 與一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)或一般過去時(shí)連用，回答一般用表頻率的副詞 always, usually, often, sometimes, never 等或者是“次數(shù)+ 一段時(shí)間”，如 once/twice a month, three times a month, every year, every week 等。

2. hardly ever
(1) hardly 作副詞，相當(dāng)于almost no、almost not,意為 “幾乎不；幾乎沒有”，其本身表示否定含義，不能再與否定詞連用。
I hardly know you.
It was so foggy that the driver could hardly make out the way ahead.
（2）hardly ever表示頻率，其表達(dá)的含義與seldom或almost never相近，意為“幾乎從不”。
She hardly ever(=seldom) calls me.
She lives in Spain, we hardly ever(=almost never)see her.

hardly 副詞 “幾乎不”，表示否定含義
hard 副詞 努力地，猛烈地
形容詞 困難的；堅(jiān)硬的
3. once/twice a week
once a week是表示頻率的短語，意為“一周一次”，常用來回答how often的提問。其中once作副詞，意為“一次”。
—How often do you go hiking
—Once a week.
twice作副詞，在此處意為“兩次”。twice a month/year意為“一月/年兩次”，表示頻率。
I play chess at least twice a week.
Please think twice before you hand in your paper.
次數(shù)表達(dá)法
表示次數(shù)應(yīng)注意，time后面加-s；
一次、兩次很特殊，once、twice要牢記。
once, twice, three times等次數(shù)的表達(dá)法。
1) 這三個(gè)詞都表示次數(shù)，once是一次，twice是兩次，除了一次，兩次，其他的次數(shù)表達(dá)都是數(shù)字 + times

4. 頻度副詞 (Adverbs of Frequency)
頻度副詞表示事情發(fā)生的頻率， 可用來回答how often引導(dǎo)的問句。 常用的頻度副詞有always，almost always， usually，often， sometimes，hardly ever（seldom），never等，它們?cè)陬l度上的差異可以這樣表示：
always(100%)>almost always>usually>often>sometimes>hardly ever(seldom)>never(0%)
頻度副詞通常放在動(dòng)詞前面，若句子里有情態(tài)動(dòng)詞、助動(dòng)詞或系動(dòng)詞be,則放在這類動(dòng)詞（第一個(gè)）的后面。例如：
It's always interesting to watch other people show their talents.
Why do people usually make resolutions
When we watch movies about the future, we sometimes see robots.
They hardly ever watch TV.
Fewer people will do such jobs in the future because they are boring, but robots will never get bored.
對(duì)頻率提問，how often do you … 的回答還可以是：
