useful/ ju sfl/ adj.有用的；有益的
（1）由“use（n.使用；用途）+-ful（形容詞后綴）”構成，可在句中作定語或者表語。
（2）useful的發音以輔音音素開頭，其前如果需要不定
冠詞，應用a。
be useful to sb.對某人有用
be useful for doing sth.對做某事有用

連讀
在同一個意群中，前后相連的兩個單詞之間，前一個單詞末尾的輔音和后一個單詞詞首的元音有時可連起來讀，這種現象稱之為連讀。
連讀現象是在語言交際中，隨著語速的加快自然產生的，可用符號“ ”表示。
常見的連讀有以下兩種：
（1）輔音+元音
當前一個詞的詞尾是輔音，后一個詞以元音開頭時，這兩個詞可以連讀。例如：

（2）r/re+元音
