But the author was also worried and anxious because she was uncertain about what would be waiting for her in the future, especially things like finding a job and fitting in with the world outside university. It seemed that the author was not certain about whether she was ready for the future challenges at that moment.
How did the author feel when arriving at university on the very first day
First, the author was worried and stressed, because she could feel her hands sweating slightly and she had to hold on tight to her suitcase. She was not sure whether she would fit in with the university. Then, the author felt relieved seeing the lively scene on campus. She built up her courage to start her university life.
How does the author write this journal entry What effect do her writing techniques have
The author begins the journal entry with the scene of her graduation ceremony. Then she uses flashback to review different events of her university life. After that, she returns to the present and gives a description of her journey back home along with her expectations for the future. The last sentence in paragraph 1 and the first sentence in paragraph 6 serve as transitional devices.
The author uses these writing techniques to vividly demonstrate her feelings about graduating from university as well as her review of the past four years. It helps readers better understand her thoughts and emotions during her university life.

What writing technique does the author use when presenting the topic sentences in paragraphs 2 to 5

Does graduating from the university mean the end of learning Why
I don’t think graduating from university is the end of learning. In fact, it is just one part of our lifelong learning journey.
After graduating from university, we may want to take a break from structured learning and focus on other aspects of life such as career, personal relationships
and hobbies.
However, in each of these aspects, we should continue to learn and develop, but in a different way from how we learn at school and university. For example, if you want to be successful in your career, you will need to develop
new skills and refresh your knowledge. And if you want to pick up one of your old hobbies, you will need to keep practising.
Additionally, in this ever-changing world, driven by globalization and advances in science and technology, knowledge acquired at university is far from enough to
keep pace with future trends.
50 years ago, most people did not foresee a future
world with the rapid development of the Internet and smartphones. Similarly, it is difficult for us to imagine what the future would be like 50 years from now. However, we can keep pace with the ongoing development of the world through lifelong learning no matter how old we are.
