Grammar focus: Linking verb 系動詞
英語動詞中，有的動詞后面接名詞或代詞等作賓語，有的可以單獨作謂語，而有的則要接形容詞或名詞等作主語的補充成分。我們把后面接主語補充成分的動詞成為系動詞。
狀態系動詞 be動詞(am,is,are,was,were)
持續系動詞 keep,stay,remain(保持)
變化系動詞 get,become,grow,turn,go(變得)
感官系動詞 look(看起來), taste(嘗起來), smell(聞起來), sound(聽起來), feel(摸起來；感覺)
定義
Grammar focus: Linking verb 系動詞
1.連系動詞后面要接形容詞，不能接副詞。如：
The milk goes bad.牛奶變質了。
2.除be動詞以外的系動詞，其否定形式和疑問形式的構成要借助助動詞do、does或did。
肯定句 The dish tastes good.這道菜味道很好。
否定句 The dish doesn’t taste good.這道菜味道不好。
疑問句 Does the dish taste good？ 這道菜味道好嗎？

◆until連詞&介詞，【用于肯定句】“直到……為止”。如：
臥床休息，直到你感覺好一些。
Stay in bed until you feel better.
拓展【用于否定句】 not…until…　直到……才……。如：
他要到明天才能來。
He can’t come until tomorrow.

◆add v.添加，增加→（過去式）added / d d/
add…to… 把……加到……中。如：
I want to add milk to the tea.我想往茶里加牛奶。

◆turn off關（電器、水、煤氣等）。如：
洗完手后，他關上了水龍頭。

現在立刻關掉電視去做你的作業。
Now， turn off the TV at once and do your homework.
拓展： turn on 開（電器、水、煤氣等）　turn up調高（音量等）　turn down調低（音量等）

About
My favourite food is dumplings.They taste delicious and look like white boats. The taste and smell of dumplings can often bring back my memories. Every Sunday, my mother makes many dumples for me. There are different kinds vegetables in them. For me, they are the best food in the world.

Steps
Step 1: Cut up the vegetables and the meat, and put them in a bowl.
Step 2: Add some salt, pepper and oil, and mix them together.
Step 3: Put a spoon of filling in a wrapper and fold the wrapper around it.
Step 4: Put the dumplings in the boiling water and wait for about 8 minutes until they are on the surface of the water. And then it’s time to enjoy them.
