一、教學內容分析
本課時包含了兩段語篇。第一篇是對Sunshine Middle School學校主要設施的介紹，主要包括教學樓、體育場以及圖書館等的介紹。第二個語篇是Millie和小學同學Kate之間的對話。二者主要談論了各自新學校的教學設施，以及對新學校的看法。通過本課時的學習，學生將學會如何介紹學校設施以及詢問他人學校設施的基本情況。
二、語篇分析
【What】 本課時包含了兩段語篇。第一篇是對Sunshine Middle School學校設施的介紹，主要包括教學樓、體育場以及圖書館等的介紹。第二個語篇是Millie和小學同學Kate之間的對話。二者主要談論了各自新學校的教學設施，以及對新學校的看法。 【Why】 本課時的兩個語篇都圍繞著“新學校”的主題展開。不僅可以使學生掌握學校主要設施的英文表達，通過對話模擬與朋友間談論新學校的互動，幫助學生學習介紹學校基本情況的英文表達，激發學生對學校的熱愛和歸屬感，還能為后續單元中的話題學習打下堅實的基礎。 【How】 本課時的對話語篇主要涉及介紹新學校設施的英文表達。包括詢問新學校的整體情況，如“How’s your new school ”，詢問對方學校設施的表達，如“Does your school have... ”, “How many classrooms does your school have ”，以及相應的回答，如“The best part is...”，“My school has...”，“We have...”，“It has...”。同時也有描述學校設施特點的形容詞，如“modern, nice, big, bright, clean”。對話情節簡單，易于理解，具有很強的實用性。
三、學情分析
學生已經在先前學習中掌握了部分關于學校設施的英文表達，為本課的學習打下了一定的語言基礎。但是對于相關話題詞匯的掌握仍不全面，對于描述學校設施特點的形容詞的了解也有限。學生活潑積極，樂于在與同伴交往合作過程中學習新知。因此應用多媒體課件，創設貼近學生日常生活的交往情境，促進語言學習與應用。學生在聽力中提取關鍵信息的能力還有待提升，因此利用表格的形式幫助學生獲取、梳理語篇信息。
四、教學目標
通過本節課的學習，學生能夠： 1. 獲取學校介紹語篇中的學校設施名稱并與正確的圖片對應； 2. 利用表格梳理Millie和Kate新學校的設施及其特點； 3. 使用對話中的句型在角色扮演中與同伴交流彼此新學校的設施及其特點； 4. 寫一篇短文介紹自己的新學校并分享給朋友。

六、教學活動設計
環節一：創設情境，導入話題，激發學生的學習興趣。（5 mins） 教師引導學生觀看單元主題圖，并引導學生盡可能多地寫下學校設施名稱。
