一、教學內容分析
本課時包含一段對話。對話展示了珊珊和奶奶之間溫馨的對話，通過對話感受奶奶的街區發生的越來越好的改變。通過本課時的學習，讓學生了解簡單而美好的鄉村生活方式。展示鄉村的友善文化和共享精神激發學生對家鄉的熱愛和歸屬感。同時幫助學生積累介紹家鄉的相關詞匯和句型，為他們描述自己的家鄉和街區做準備，并學會用there be 結構表示在某地有某人/物/事。
二、語篇分析
【What】 本課時包含一段對話。對話涉及到珊珊和奶奶談論社區的變化。珊珊去看望奶奶。珊珊表示想念奶奶，奶奶也說想念她。珊珊詢問奶奶膝蓋近況，奶奶說好多了，因為有了電梯，幫助很大。奶奶提到小區很多舊公寓樓都有了電梯。珊珊感慨變化多，路也變寬了。珊珊還看到街角有個新公園。奶奶說還會有一個大商場和新地鐵，地鐵能通往火車站。珊珊覺得很棒，奶奶表示對這些變化很開心。 【Why】 本課時的內容通過祖孫間的對話生動展示了社區生活中的積極變化，不僅體現親情溫暖還引導學生關注身邊環境的改善。讓學生對生活中的發展和進步持有積極的看法，為我們安居樂業的生活感到驕傲和自豪。 【How】 本課時以簡單親切的對話形式展開，符合日常生活交流。通過過去和現在的情況對比，如道路寬窄，強調社區的變化。清楚地介紹了社區的各項新設施和改進。 本語篇主要運用一般現在時和一般過去時，如 “How are your knees these days ”“They were indeed narrow in the past.”等，使時態運用與描述內容相匹配，語言準確、流暢，為學生口語表達提供了良好的范例。
三、學情分析
本課時的文章涉及介紹奶奶居住的街區發生了哪些變化，學生對于談論這一與生活密切相關的話題，可能會有較高的興趣和參與度。本節課的話題貼近學生日常生活，同學們學習起來也比較容易，但可能學生們對于身邊的變化不那么敏感，需要老師的積極引導。而且本課學生將學習there be 結構在不同時代中的用法，在時態的改變上學生們學習起來可能難度較大。

六、教學活動設計
環節一：了解城市百年的變化 ，感知變化無處不在。（5 mins） 利用視頻讓學生了解城市百年的變化，讓學生感知變化無處不在，引出本節課的話題。

環節二：圍繞文本內容展開閱讀訓練。（10 mins） 學生讀對話，理解珊珊和奶奶的對話，畫出奶奶家變化的句子。再讀文章，找出文章中的重點單詞和短語。

環節三：通過填反義詞和填空，總結歸納，掌握there be結構在不同時態中的不同用法。（15 mins） 學生根據所給形容詞，找出他們的反義詞。利用四組反義詞填空。通過觀察文章中的例句總結歸納出there be 結構在不同時態中的不同用法，并通過練習來鞏固學習效果。

環節四：采訪家人，了解變化，完成習作。梳理本課內容，完成思維導圖。（15 mins） 學生采訪自己的家人，發現身邊的變化，填寫表格。根據例文，寫一寫自己身邊的變化。
