My name is Lucas. I hope to be a farmer when I grow up. Is my father a farmer No. What about my mother No again. Then why do I want to be a farmer Well, in our life skills class a few days ago, I experienced the joy of planting vegetables and flowers. Farming is a really important job. Nobody can live without food. I want to grow the best crops for people.
Kelly said she might become a manager. I think it’s a good choice for her because she is always a good organiser during group projects. A manager needs to be a good team leader.

Point
用法：

Point
用法：

3. Nobody can live without food.
without + 名詞 / 代詞 / 動詞-ing 形式。
Point
用法：
without為介詞，后面接名詞、代詞或動詞-ing 形式，表示 “沒有” 某種事物或未發(fā)生某種行為。
例句：
We can't live without air and water.
（沒有空氣和水我們無法生存。）
dream of doing sth. 是一個常用的固定短語，意為“夢想做某事”。

講解：
dream 在這里是不及物動詞，of是介詞，后面接v.-ing形式,構(gòu)成介詞短語，在句中作狀語，用來修飾 dream” 這個動作，表示夢想的具體內(nèi)容。
例句：
He dreams of becoming a world-renowned architect.
（他夢想成為一名世界著名的建筑師。）

fall in love with意為“愛上......”。
Point
用法：
fall in love with為固定短語，后面接人或事物，表示對某人或某物產(chǎn)生喜愛之情。
