In this lesson, we will be able to:
1. Understand and use new vocabulary related to school life, such as “subject”, “culture”, “talented” and new names like “Brian”, “Jenny” and “Li Ming” through listening and reading the dialogue.
2. Learn new subjects and languages by sharing their own experiences and listening to others' stories in the class.
3. Communicate with classmates actively, which helps them develop good communication and cooperation skills in a real-life context related to school life.

Every job requires hard work.
表達某人對某事物產生關注和喜愛的情感。
Point
用法：
1.主語（人）+ be 動詞（am /is/are）+ interested in + 名詞 / 代詞 / 動名詞
2.“be interested in + 從句 ”表示對某種情況或事件感興趣。
例句：
My brother is interested in history and often reads history books.
（我哥哥對歷史感興趣，經常讀歷史書。）
2. He is interested in what she said at the meeting.
（他對她在會議上說的話感興趣。）

2. Hi, Li Ming. Let me introduce you to my cousin，Brian.
introduce sb. to sb. 表示“把某人介紹給某人”，用于向一方介紹另一方。
Point
用法：
introduce 后接要介紹的人，to 后接被介紹的對象。
例句：
Jenny introduced Brian to Li Ming.（詹妮把布萊恩介紹給李明。）
The teacher introduced the new student to the whole class.
（老師把這名新學生介紹給全班同學。）
3. It seems interesting. How about you
“seem to do” 是一個常用的英語短語，意思是 “似乎做...；好像做...”。
Point
用法：
肯定形式：主語 + seem to do... 否定形式：主語 + don't/doesn't seem to do... 或主語 + seem not to do... 疑問形式：Do/Does + 主語 + seem to do...
例句：
He seems to know a lot about history.（他似乎對歷史了解很多。）
She seems not to like the movie.（她似乎不喜歡這部電影。）
Do they seem to be happy （他們看起來開心嗎？）
4. I'll consider that!
consider doing sth. 意為“考慮做某事”。
Point
用法：
consider 后接動詞時要用v. - ing 形式，表示思考、斟酌做某事。
例句：
Jenny will consider being a language teacher.
（詹妮將會考慮成為一名語言老師。）
I am considering buying a new book.（我在考慮買一本新書。）
similar to用于表示兩個或多個事物在某些方面有相似之處。
Point
用法：
“be similar to” 中的 “be” 動詞會根據句子的時態和主語的人稱、數等進行相應的變化。
例句：
My car is similar to yours.（我的小汽車和你的小汽車相似。）
The situation then was similar to what we are facing now.
（當時的情況和我們現在面臨的情況相似。）
5. It's similar to Grade 7.
be talented in意為“在…… 方面有天賦”。
Point
用法：
be talented in” 中的 “be” 動詞要根據句子的時態和主語的人稱、數等進行變化。
例句：
She is talented in painting.（她在繪畫方面有天賦。）
When he was young, he was talented in sports and won many medals.
（他年輕時，在體育方面有天賦，贏得了許多獎牌。）
