A Personal pronouns
We use personal pronouns to replace nouns that we have already talked about. There are subject pronouns and object pronouns.
Subject pronoun I you he she it we they
Object pronoun me you him her it us them
Read the short passage about Su Mei’s collection and pay attention to the words in bold. Then find out who or what each personal pronoun refers to.
Su Mei collects rocks in her free lime. She has rocks of different colours，shapes and sizes. They are from lakes, rivers, forests and mountains. Most of them are small, but some
are as big as apples. Her favourite rock is a green
one. She found it in the river near her home.
It looks like a duck egg and has beautiful patterns.
一、人稱代詞
1. 人稱代詞用來指代前面談論到的名詞，根據其在句中的作用，可分為主格和賓格。

人稱代詞主格用于動詞前，作主語。如：

人稱代詞賓格用于動詞或介詞后，作賓語。如：
Miss Li will teach us next week. 下周李老師會教我們。
We’re looking for him. 我們正在找他。
The dog is hungry. Please give it something to eat.

人稱代詞的用法

B Possessive adjectives and possessive pronouns
We use possessive adjectives and possessive pronouns to show that something belongs to someone or something.
Possessive adjective my your our their Its/his/her

Read what Jason said about his collection and pay attention to the words in bold.
I’m Jason. My friends and I like collecting things. Let me show you our collections! This is my favourite coin. I found it in a shop in Hamelin, Germany. Those beautiful bookmarks over there are mine too. These little clay figures are Sam's. His collection also includes some coffee cups. Look at that smiley face cup. It's his too! These cute little plants belong to Susan. This purple one is her favourite.
We need to put a noun after a possessive adjective, but we do not need to add anything after a possessive pronoun.

We use a possessive adjective and a possessive pronoun like this:
Its is only used as a possessive adjective. For example:
The baby has her favourite toy, and the dog has its favourite toy too.
Things to remember
Its is different from it's.
It's a plant. Its leaves are green. (It's=It is)

物主代詞可分為形容詞性物主代詞和名詞性物主代詞。

形容詞性物主代詞用于名詞前，作定語。如：
This is her school bag. 這是她的書包。
Where is your dad 你爸爸在哪里？
Our Chinese teacher is friendly. 我們的語文老師很友善。
名詞性物主代詞=形容詞性物主代詞+名詞，后面不能再跟名詞。 如：
Your pencil-case is blue. Mine (= My pencil-case) is red.
你的文具盒是藍色的，我的是紅色的。
These are my books. Those are yours (= your books).
這些是我的書，那些是你的。
