Story time 課時設計
一、教學設計說明
本課以我最喜歡的學科為主題，圍繞新學期開學，老師向學生介紹新學期的課程展開。在教學過程中，通過復習是該上什么課的時間了展開，進而介紹新學期的新老師，談論他們教授的學科，復習舊知，引出新學期開學的故事，學習新的語言知識；通過創設新的情境，進行語言知識的鞏固和練習；通過談論最喜歡的學科，表達自己對于學科的喜好，并且闡述其原因，幫助學生深刻認識自己的長處和需求，進一步談論課程話題，進行語言知識的遷移和應用。 本教學設計，遵循了學生的認知規律和心理特點，秉持英語學習活動觀來組織和實施教學，以“最喜歡的學科”為主題進行學習，難度逐步遞進，主題也逐步拓展。從“談論該上什么課了”逐步過渡到“談論自己對學科的喜好及原因”，幫助學生進行語言知識的遷移與運用。在交互活動中，教師應該幫助學生理解、學習、掌握、應用本課語言知識；并積極引導學生深刻認識自己的長處和需求，進一步談論課程話題。
二、語篇研讀
【What】 本課語篇圍繞劉濤、楊玲等學生新學期開學，老師向他們介紹新學期課程展開。故事展現了學生們對喜歡的學科及喜歡原因的談論，在實際情境中呈現了對核心語言的學習。 【Why】 本語篇通過標題“My favourite subject”引發學生的參與熱情，借助老師歡迎學生回到學校，向學生介紹本學期的課程內容，學生根據新學期的課程談論彼此喜歡的課程及原因展開，讓學生在真實的語境中學習如何表達自己對于學科的喜好，并且闡述其原因。 【How】 本語篇是比較典型的日常交際對話，在Cartoon time的基礎上，呈現了更多的談論學科特點和對學科喜好的詞匯，如“interesting, be good at, culture”等，涉及談論最喜歡學科的句型“What subject do you like best I like ...”，文本結構清晰，內容易于理解，貼近學生生活實際，能調動學生的學習熱情，具有現實意義和教育意義。
三、課時教學目標
通過本課時學習，學生能夠： 1. 借助于圖片和語境理解和運用“Welcome back to…, new, timetable, be good at, interesting, learn about, culture, read, story, all, playground”等來表達自己對于學科的喜好，并且闡述其原因。 2. 在看、聽、讀、說的活動中注意觀察和理解細節要點。 3. 在交際與表達過程中深刻認識自己的長處和需求，進一步談論課程話題，提升交際能力和表達能力，熱愛知識，樂于探索和實踐。
四、教學重難點
【重點】 1. 借助于圖片和語境理解和運用“Welcome back to…, new, timetable, be good at, interesting, learn about, culture, read, story, all, playground”等來表達自己對于學科的喜好，并且闡述其原因。 2. 在看、聽、讀、說的活動中注意觀察和理解細節要點。 【難點】 學會表達自己對于學科的喜好的核心句型，并且闡述其原因，在交際與表達過程中深刻認識自己的長處和需求，進一步談論課程話題，提升交際能力和表達能力，熱愛知識，樂于探索和實踐。
五、教學過程
環節一：通過游戲導入，復習舊知，活躍課堂氣氛，為新課學習做鋪墊。（8 mins） 通過根據計時器和課程設置表，玩“該上什么課了”的游戲，說出要上的課程，借助圖片信息說出老師所教的學科，引出并學習表示學科的核心詞匯。

環節二：引出并學習Story time，深入理解故事內容。（20mins） 通過閱讀故事內容，完成相關任務，引導學生深入了解故事內容，在具體語境中學習、運用所學語言知識，實現知識的內化。

環節三： 活化運用，進行語言知識的操練和拓展。（12 mins） 學生們進行角色扮演、調查同學們喜歡的學科并給出報告，進一步進行語言知識的操練和拓展。
