Dear classmates, if you want to make new friends at school but you don't know how, here's some of my advice.
First, take the first step! Try to start a conversation, so you can get to know more about others. Talk about things you both know and are interested in. Don’t be scared!
Second, try your best to understand(理解) others! Remember to respect his/her opinions, and try to be ok with all kinds of friends, because everyone is different.
Last, be real and be sincere! It’s important to be supportive(支持的). Everyone has their ups and downs(起伏), So if he or she doesn't feel good, try to make him or her happy. Then you can say, “I'm always here for you.” In this way, you will be much closer to your new friend.
