The English alphabet has 26 letters(字母). In "alphabetical order", they are: a b c d e f g h i j k l m n o p q r s t u v w x y z.

書寫規則
應按照字母的筆順和字母在三格中所占的位置書寫。
1. 每個字母都可以稍向右傾斜，約為5°，斜度要一致。
2. 大寫字母都應一樣高，占上面兩格。
3. 小寫字母 a,c,e,m,n,o,r,s,u,v,w,x,z寫在中間的一格里，上下抵線，但都不出格。
4. 小寫字母 b,d,h,k,l的上端頂第一線,占上面兩格。
5. 小寫字母i和j的點、t的上端都在第一格中間。
書寫規則
6. 小寫字母 f,g,j,p,q,y的下端抵第四線。
7. 小寫字母 a,d,h,i,k,l,m,n,t和u的提筆是一個上挑的小圓鉤。
8. 書寫單詞時,字母與字母之間的間隔要均勻、適當,不要湊得過緊,也不要離得太遠。
9. 書寫句子時,單詞之間必須有適當的距離,一般以空出一個小寫字母a的寬度為宜。
10. 標點符號要寫在一定的位置上。
