prefer / pr 'f (r)/ v.更喜歡，寧愿

I prefer to write poems.我更喜歡寫詩。
prefer to do sth.意為“寧愿做某事”，
“更喜歡做某事”，prefer后接動(dòng)詞不定式。
I prefer the quiet countryside to the noisy cities.
我喜歡安靜的鄉(xiāng)村勝過喧鬧的城市。
prefer＋名詞/動(dòng)詞的 ing形式＋to＋名詞/動(dòng)詞的 ing形式意為“喜歡……勝過……”。
