Dear Chris,
I'm writing to share with you an art class I attended in a park last Friday.
During the art class, we were asked to depict （描繪）our favorite natural settings. I chose a tranquil lake which is surrounded by green trees and beautiful blooms. Inspired by the peaceful settings and reflection of the lake, I created a piece that conveyed my love for nature and a sense of harmony. Moreover, what made it special was that I used different shades to bring the scene to life so that my artwork won high praise from the teacher and my classmates.
In short, the art class in the park was a unique experience, not only broadening my horizon, but also cultivating my aesthetic (審美的) taste.
I can’t wait to show you my painting next time we meet.
