Period 2 Using language
1.當先行詞是表示時間的名詞（如time、day、hour、year等），且關系詞在從句中作時間狀語時，定語從句用when引導。
2.當先行詞是表示具體地點的名詞（如place、factory、house、village等）或抽象地點的名詞（如case、 state、 stage、 condition、 point、 situation、 occasion等），且關系詞在從句中作地點狀語時，定語從句用where引導。
3.當先行詞是表示原因的名詞reason，且關系詞在從句中作原因狀語時，定語從句用why引導。why只能引導限制性定語從句。
當表示時間、地點或原因的名詞后有定語從句時，把先行詞代入定語從句中，若先行詞在從句中作主語、賓語、定語或表語，則用關系代詞；若作狀語，則用關系副詞。
