[注意] 表達“努力學習”，也可用 study hard。

[拓展] hard work 為名詞短語，在句中作為主語、賓語或表語使用，表示艱苦的工作或學習。
Hard work pays off in the end. 努力工作最終會有回報。
3. I miss my parents very much. 我非常想念我的父母。(教材第 55 頁，3b)
miss /m s/ [動詞] 想念
miss 在句中作及物動詞，其第三人稱單數形式為 misses.
I know you miss your mother very much. 我知道你非常想念你的母親。
[拓展] ① miss 作及物動詞，還可意為“沒趕上，錯過”。
miss doing sth. 錯過做某事
He arrived too late and missed the train. 他到得太晚，沒趕上火車。
I missed seeing that movie. 我錯過了看那部電影。
② Miss 意為“小姐；女士”，通常用于未婚女性的姓氏前以示禮貌，也可用于學生對未婚女教師的稱呼。

be tired of... 對······感到厭倦
表示對某事物或行為感到不耐煩，通常用于描述情緒上的疲倦，后接名詞、代詞或動詞 –ing 形式。

have a bath 洗澡 (英式英語)
take a bath 洗澡 (美式英語)
a hot bath 熱水澡
[注意] bath 還可作動詞，表示“給······洗澡”或“洗澡”，多用于英式英語。在美式英語中，通常使用“bathe”。此外，在表示“洗身體某部位(尤指清洗傷口)”時用 bathe。
It′s your turn to bath the baby. 輪到你給嬰兒洗澡了。

on Saturday morning 在星期六上午
相當于 on the morning of Saturday。在具體的某一天或某一天的上午、下午或晚上前，用介詞 on。
on the morning of June 1st 在六月一日的早上
on Tuesday evening 在星期二晚上
[拓展] ① at 后常接時刻，也可與 noon、night 等搭配。
I left home at 5 a.m. so as to be there on time. 我早上 5 點鐘就出門，以便準時到達那里。
② in 后常接年份、月份、季節，也可與 morning、afternoon、evening 搭配。
The weather is hot in July. 在七月，天氣炎熱。
