考點1 情態動詞should的用法。
情態動詞should后接動詞原形,變為一般疑問句時將should提前,
變為否定句時在should后加not。should常用于以下兩種情況。
1.提出建議、觀點或看法。例如:
You look tired. You should lie down and have a rest.你看起來很
累。你應該躺下來休息一下。
2.表示推測,意為“應該,按理應當”。例如:
Wait a minute. I think he should come soon. 等一下。我想他應該
很快就到了。

考點2 動詞不定式。
動詞不定式的基本結構為“to+動詞原形”(有時可不加to)。動詞不
定式在句中可充當主語、表語、賓語、狀語、賓語補足語、定語等。八
年級上冊教材已講過動詞不定式作賓語的用法,這里主要講作賓語補足
語和狀語的用法。
1.作賓語補足語。
動詞不定式作賓語補足語,放在賓語的后面,表示賓語是什么或怎
么樣。
(1)在ask, tell, encourage, get, wish, want, would like, advise,
teach等動詞或短語之后,常接帶to的不定式作賓語補足語。例如:
Our teacher asks us to come to school on time.老師要求我們按時
到校。
(2)使役動詞(have, make, let)及感官動詞(feel, hear, watch,
see, notice等)后跟不帶to的動詞不定式作賓語補足語。例如:
In the past, the boss made his workers work over ten hours a day.
過去,老板讓他的工人每天工作十小時以上。
(3)動詞help后接不定式作賓語補足語時,不定式符號to可省略,
也可不省略。例如:
On weekends,I often help my mother (to) do some housework.
周末,我經常幫助媽媽做家務。
2.作狀語。
(1)表示目的。表示目的時,不定式可以放在句首,也可以放在
句末。放在句首時,不定式和句子之間常用逗號隔開。例如:
To get there on time, we set out at 6:00 in the morning.為了按時
到達那里,我們早上六點就出發了。
(2)表示結果。不定式作結果狀語,一般位于句末。例如:
I went to the classroom, to discover it empty. 我來到教室,結果

考點4 動詞短語。
動詞后加介詞或副詞等構成短語,表達一種特定的含義。動詞短語
主要有以下四種構成形式。
1.動詞+介詞。如:agree with, ask for, arrive in/at, come from, get
to, get off, hear of, knock at/on, look at, listen to, laugh at, look after,
look for, wait for等。這類動詞短語后的賓語無論是名詞還是代詞,都
要放在介詞后。例如:
I’m looking for my key. I’ve been looking for it for an hour. 我
在找我的鑰匙。我已經找了一個小時了。
2.動詞+副詞。如:come out, come over, come in, find out, give
out, grow up, get up, go home, look up, put on, turn on/off, write
down, wake up, work out, put away等。這類動詞短語后面的賓語是名
詞時,名詞可放在副詞之前,也可放在副詞之后;賓語是代詞時,代詞
只能放在副詞之前。例如:
Please turn on the radio.=Please turn the radio on. 請打開收音機。
Can you pick it up 你能把它撿起來嗎?
3.動詞+名詞+介詞。如:have a look at, make friends with, pay
attention to, take care of, look forward to等。在這類動詞短語中,賓語
都放在介詞之后。例如:
I’m looking forward to going to Beihai again. 我期待著再次去北海。
4.動詞+形容詞+介詞。如:be angry with, be busy with, be
good/bad for, be different from, be late for, be interested in, be famous
for, be good at等。例如:
Hangzhou is famous for the West Lake.杭州因西湖而聞名。
